iPad 2 is a second generation of Apple tablet after ipad first launched last year. For some people, iPad 2 is the iPhone 4 in the larger size. The iPad 2 comes with improvements in hardware and software of the previously iPad. Other good news, Apple adds two cameras on the iPad 2.
The iPad 2 uses LED-backlit touchscreen display 9.7 inch IPS TFT, with 768 x 1024 pixels. This is exactly the same as before. I was heartbroken to learn that the Retina display would not make it into the iPad 2. We’ve seen it, it looks amazing, but it’s either too expensive, or can’t be produced in sufficient quantities. Maybe it’s coming to that hypothetical iPad update later this year, but this would stink for new iPad 2 users. In the meantime Android competitors have jumped to higher-resolution displays (1280×768).
When you see the iPad 2, you will agree when I say that it’s unbelievably thin. iPad 2 comes with 241mm high, 186mm wide, and 8.8 mm thick, wrapped with white skin, smaller than in previous iPad and thinner than the iPhone 4, and a curved edge. Another change is the weight. The first Ipad weighs 680 grams, while the iPad 2 only 80g, much lighter than the first iPad. Overall, the new design is pretty fantastic.
The iPad 2 has two cameras. 0.7-megapixel rear camera, which can record 720p HD video and VGA front camera for video chat. It seems that Apple is not concerned with the quality of the camera. The Competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab winning a landslide victory in this case.
The quality of the iPad 2 graphics feels faster, the iPad 2 can deliver more powerful video game. It also features an HDMI port with HD resolution that allows the user connects iPad on other devices that support HDMI with excellent image quality.
The iPad 2 runs iOS v4.3 with A5 dual core processors, the iPad 2 is faster. This is particularly noticeable when manipulating the web browser. I expect the iPad 2 to be faster for both single-threaded application and multi-threaded ones. It’s a dual-core processor, but each of the cores should be more efficient than the previous circuitry used in the original iPad. That’s perceptible performance.
On the wireless front, you can nab either a WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n) only model, a Verizon 3G version, or an iPad of the AT&T / GSM variety. Bluetooth 2.1+EDR is on board, as is an AGPS chip in the 3G versions. All the models come equipped with an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, and a new addition: a three-axis gyroscope.
Apple has relocated the iPad’s single speaker to the back of the device. The sound seems clearer if somewhat quieter than the old version, and we can’t say that there’s a major improvement as far as the placement goes. It does the job, but if you’re working in GarageBand (or just listening to music or watching video), you’ll want good headphones or decent speakers nearby.
the iPad 2 battery life is so long. You can watch the video for 10 hours. Battery life is one of iPad’s most formidable strengths, one who can not be surpassed by rivals. The iPad 2 equipped with a smart cover to protect screen iPad of polyurethane material with a variety of bright colors.
