Unlocked and Contract free iPhone 4S Models Has Been Available in Apple US Store
After waiting so long to wait, Apple released the iPhone 4S unlocked and free contract models. Starting yesterday iPhone 4S unlocked with no contract is available on the Apple US Store.
As seen in the picture, the price offered is not too expensive. To get the 16GB version, you have to pay $ 649, while $ 729 for 32GB and $ 849 for 64GB. Before you buy, you should consider this quote from the Apple website, “The unlocked iPhone works only on supported GSM networks, such as AT&T in the U.S. When you travel internationally, you can also use a micro-SIM card from a local GSM carrier. The unlocked iPhone will not work with CDMA carriers such as Verizon Wireless or Sprint.”
There was also news that Sprint has locked the iPhone 4S SIM purchased on November 11. But, for the purchase of the iPhone 4S before 11 November, temporarily will remain unlocked. How long? I don’t know.
