Samsung Reportedly Preparing The New Tablet, 11.6 inch With Retina-resolution Display
The Galaxy Tab with 10.1-inch screen seems not enough to gives “satisfaction” to the Samsung. Samsung rumored preparing new tablet with screen measuring 11.6-inch that will be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6.
Even, according to sources at BGR, The Galaxy Tab 11.6 has 2560 x 1600 pixels high resolution screen and 16:10 aspect ratio. It means, it will beat the iPad 3 that rumored has 2048×1536 pixels resolution.
Although it has larger screen, but the size of the Galaxy Tab 11.6 is “barely larger” than the 10.1 model, to keep comfortable while in your hand. Besides competing in screen resolution, this device also reportedly competing in “strength of the processor”. The Galaxy Tab 11.6 will come with 2 GHz dual-core processor Exynos 5250 that similar to Apple‘s A6 processor.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 will be equipped Android Beam, to easy synchronization of this tablet to The Galaxy Nexus which also has the same features (Read : Excellent Features of The Samsung Galaxy Nexus). Another feature is the wireless docking mode, which allows Android users to play games on HD TVs.
Samsung may introduce this tablet at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February 2012 and will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
