Samsung Galaxy S III Rumored to be the Official Device of the 2012 Olympics

Samsung Galaxy S III became the official device of the 2012 Olympics? Yeah, we get this rumor from BGR site. According to sources at BGR site, there will be a huge international roll-out for the Galaxy S III  and the Galaxy S III will be the “official device” of the 2012 Olympics.

Currently Samsung has become a sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games and in its ads, David Beckham (soccer star) appears as the second member of “Team Samsung. It also makes this rumor is believed to be correct.

While Samsung officials didn’t want to comment on it. However, Samsung officials told The Telegraph (a UK newspaper) that the company would release a smartphone for the 2012 Olympics in the near future. The device will support payments through NFC.

There was no official confirmation here. We only know that Samsung will host an event in London on May 3. This is indicated as an event for the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S III. So we’ll wait.
