Sony Xperia ST27i Lotus leaks, Model Number Indicated as Successor to the Xperia Active

One of Sony’s upcoming smartphone leaks. Smartphone with the code name Sony Xperia ST27i / ST27a or also known as Lotus has been uncovered. Some details about this smartphone is revealed via user agent profile found on the Sony website.
The Sony Xperia Lotus has a model number that is identical to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active (ST17i/ST17a), a rugged smartphone. Maybe this is the successor to the Xperia Active.
As usual, Sony Xperia ST27i estimated as a global version, while the Sony Xperia ST27a only for the US. So, the ST27i will support the 900/2100 HSPA network, while the ST27a will support the 850/1900 network for 3G or 4G.
The Sony Xperia Lotus will come with an ST-Ericsson’s U8500 NovaThor 1GHz Dual-Core processor, a touch screen (480 × 854) and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. But some rumors said that the Lotus will run Ice Cream Sandwich. Let’s wait until it’s official.
