MetroPCS Huawei Activa 4G become the Huawei’s first LTE Android smartphone for the US

MetroPCS has announced a new Huawei smartphone that will be the Huawei’s first Android LTE smartphone for the US, that is The Activa 4G. This smartphone is now available in the US market.

Huawei Activa 4G is an entry level smartphone, comes with 3.5 inch HVGA display, 800MHz single core processor, stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 1880 mAh battery, 151 MB of internal  memory and 4GB MicroSD card pre-loaded with Kung Fu Panda 2. This smartphone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it seems there will be no update ICS.

MetroPCS offers Huawei Activa 4G, at a price of $149. This is a very cheap price for a smartphone that supports 4G LTE  connectivity. In fact, perhaps the Activa 4G is the cheapest LTE smartphone without contract in US.
