Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Note II. This handset was introduced at a Samsung pre-IFA press conference and they confirmed some previous rumors.
Samsung Galaxy Note II comes with more powerful specs and larger screen than the first generation of Galaxy Note. Samsung Galaxy Note II has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD powered by the quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a battery capacity of 3100 mAh. The cameras are 8 megapixels on the back and 1.9 megapixel on the front. The Galaxy Note II running the latest operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Samsung Galaxy Note II has a new feature, dubbed the Air View. This Application allows you to hover the S Pen over an email, message, the gallery, video, etc. to preview the content without the need to actually open the app. The S-Pen has also been redesigned as well so look longer and thicker.
Samsung Galaxy Note II also supports HSPA + and 4G LTE networks. It will be available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB models which can be expanded via MicroSD card.
Samsung Galaxy Note II will begin to be released in October in Europe, while the US and worldwide to follow shortly thereafter. No information about the price at this time.
Update: Samsung N7100 Galaxy Note II get a price tag in Germany for € 639.90.
