HTC Windows Phone 8S Goes Official

Aside the 8X, HTC also announced the HTC Windows Phone 8S at the event. This is the HTC’s Windows Phone 8 smartphone which more compact than the 8X and should be cheaper as the HTC Windows Phone 8S comes with specifications that one level below the 8X.

The HTC Windows Phone 8s packs 4-inch Super LCD display with WVGA resolution and protected by Gorilla Glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with dual-core Krait CPU clocked at 1GHz, Adreno 225 GPU, 512MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage plus MicroSD card slot.

On the back, there is  5MP camera (F2.8, 35mm lens) + LED flash with 720p HD video recording capabilities. On the connectivity side, the device is equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS (with GLONASS), and Bluetooth. The battery used is 1700 mAh. HTC has also added Beats Audio features like the other HTC devices.

HTC Windows Phone 8S will be available in four colors, Domino, Fiesta Red, Atlantic Blue and High-Rise Gray. This handset will be released along with the 8X in November. Price of The HTC 8S has not been revealed.
