Nokia Lumia 820 now goes official. At the Nokia event in New York, Nokia Lumia 820 was announced as one of the first Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 smartphones, beside the Lumia 920.

Nokia Lumia 820 comes with a mid-end specs, including the 4.3-inch AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution, uses a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and 1GB of RAM, 8 MP camera and a 1650mAh battery.

In addition, the internal storage capacity of Nokia Lumia 820 is smaller than the Lumia 920, only 8GB. However, if you feel this is too small, you can expand using a microSD card.

Nokia Lumia 820 also has a Super Sensitive Touch technology on its screen. This technology enables the display to detect touches, even if you are wearing gloves or have long nails. With this technology, you do not need to open your glove to interact with the screen of the Lumia 820.

Nokia Lumia 820 is also compatible with wireless charging. On the connectivity side, The Lumia 820 also supports LTE and NFC.

Nokia Lumia 820 will be available in red, yellow, gray, cyan, purple, white, and black. No information about the price and release date. But the Nokia Lumia 820 is expected to be released shortly after the the Windows Phone 8 launch on October 26.
